This is an account of my transition from chasing bad guys to chasing chickens. I have been a Police Officer for just over sixteen years working on a federal task force. My career was taken after a gang member gunned me down in the projects shattering my femur. I am ready to get my hands dirty now and provide for my family By working the land and raising livestock in my urban homestead. I do plan on moving to my own farm at some point. Join me as I share what I learn through trial and error. It can’t be too hard can it ?

  1. Wow what an incredible journey. So sorry to hear about what happened but I do want to thank you for your service as a police officer. Looking forward to seeing your homesteading journey. And yes its totally easy by the way….HA!

  2. Thanks for the follow! Sounds like you’re on quite a journey! Wishing you and your wife much success in your homesteading adventure. I’m looking forward to reading all about it! 🙂

  3. Keep it up! Definitely the hardest thing we have ever done, but a good kind of hard- satisfying in a way thatthe rat race could never be. We transitioned for 5 years before moving to our land- it is all about the journey.
